There have been some changes to the schedule for the summer semester.  We will no longer be offering classes at Piper's Quilt but we're excited to now be offering classes at Yellow Bird Fabrics located at 988 E. 3300 S. We're sorry for any confusion.  The times will be as follows:

Summer Sewing Schedule

Thank you for your patience on the arrival of this schedule! We have had a LOT of calls to register for summer and we are sorry we kept putting you off until we got our calendar together. We are ready!!!

Our most popular summer sewing option is our "CAMP" where students come every day for a whole week! If you are a returning student, you will pick up where you left off, making clothing out of your pattern packet, matching doll clothes, or craft items.

New students will be able to make the following in their first summer camp: small drawstring bag, large drawstring bag, skirt, coordinating blouse, and matching outfit for your doll (or similar depending on interest). New students need to purchase $40 pattern packet--enough patterns to last a year's worth of weekly sewing lessons.

Our sewing lessons cost $15/hour. When you sign up with a friend it drops to $12.50/hour; sign up with two or more friends and it drops to $10/hour. Our summer camps are special exceptions. All students get the special $10/hour price when you sign up for a summer camp. There is a $20 non-refundable registration fee to reserve your spot, as they fill up quickly, which is applied to your tuition fee.

Special Beginning Sewing Class

Come try a one-time sewing class to see how you like sewing!!! We provide all the materials for this beginning class. Learn the parts of the machine, how to sew, and complete a cute draw-string bag.

2 hours and a completed project for $40!

Spring Break & Off-Track Sewing Camps

Call and register for your week-long sewing camp today. Students LOVE week-long sewing camps because they can see a lot of progress very quickly. In a week-long, two-hour-per-day camp a beginning student will have enough time to complete the notion's bag, sewing bag, skirt, and blouse. Bump the daily camp up to three-hours-per-day and the student will also have enough time to complete a matching outfit for an 18" doll or Build-A-Bear. Tuition drops from $15/hour to $10/hour when you sign up for a week-long camp.
